March 1 "Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" --- Boston 2012


Last night was a rough one.  I'm not sure if it was a combination of fighting something off or finally coming down from a weekend high, but my tank hit empty.  Didn't feel too good and needed to get to bed. With so much basketball on, it was a hard thing for me to do, but I knew that I wouldn't regret it.  I texted my coach to advise her of how I was feeling.  I wasn't too sure what was going on, but I knew that it probably wasn't going to be a good idea to get up early and run.  I hated to do it, but I had to ask for the day off.  This was one of those days where I needed a workout but I needed a day off even 
more.  Recognizing and admitting this to myself demonstrates some personal growth in this area for me.  I got over 10 hours of sleep last night and took two naps today.  And although I am feeling better I am still looking forward to hitting my bed early for some more rest.  Tomorrow is another workout and opportunity to continue improving for Boston.  These upcoming weeks are going to be packed with challenging workouts and I need all the energy I can muster.  Goodnight!
